Economic abuse continues to be a major obstacle for women trying to leave an abusive relationship. Our Employment Specialist is available to help with individual career counseling, skills assessment, resume writing, interview skills and more. All services are free of charge and are kept strictly confidential.

Since its inception in April of 1998, hundreds of clients have been assisted by the Vocational Advocacy Project in obtaining economic independence. Our clients continue to receive emerging technology training through our computer training classes. The program runs for several weeks and covers all basic areas of computer use, including Microsoft Word, Excel and the Internet. The project provides clients with cutting edge technical skills mandated by the current labor market.
