F/T Court Advocate/Coordinator - Provide advocacy for SCCADV clients; she/he will assist clients as they go through the Probation Intake process, Family and District Court and other associated agencies, i.e. Police, Sheriff’s Department, D.A.’s Office, etc.; coordinate court advocacy services by assisting with scheduling, on-site coordination of advocates’ activities at the courts, act as a liaison between advocates and supervisor, provide staff and volunteer training in court, etc.; provide outreach to the community, particularly underserved populations and local communities.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in related field, domestic violence and/or paralegal experience a plus.

P/T Weekend Shift Worker - Responsible for activities within the Shelter during her/his weekend shifts. Additionally, the Weekend Shift Worker will have the responsibility for conducting chores as assigned by supervisor.

F/T Night Shift Worker - Responsible for activities within the Shelter during the night shift, and will report accordingly. The Night Shift Worker will also be responsibility for conducting a nightly inventory on household supplies, i.e. linens, stock food items, paper goods, light bulbs, etc., and check all equipment to be sure in good working order. (plumbing, electrical appliances, smoke detectors and fire safety. Finally, the Night Shift Worker must assist in the daily cleaning of the staff areas.

F/T Precinct Advocates - Advocate works out of the SCPD Precincts; days, evenings and weekend hours. Advocate counsels victims of domestic violence on the court process and availability of services and provides written material and outreach. Provide court accompaniment to Family, District and Supreme Courts to assist in obtaining orders of protection.-
